Professor Sloka welcomes participants and introduces prof. Bruno,
Dean Faculty of Economics and Management. In his speech, Professor
Bruno gives a brief overview of the faculty where enrolled about 2,000
students. Faculty Training 3rd cycle programs in economics and
management.
After a brief greeting Dr. Kaufman, professor Sloka gives
understanding of the University of Latvia in Riga – the structure of the
university, its training programs and details on the implementation of
programs undergraduate and master’s programs. Presentation of the
National Coordinator of Belarus.
Dr. Cyril Dobreho notes many details Belarusian knowledge triangle,
such as:
– Parks that act as know how transfer agencies,
– Participation of students in the research process thesis and internships,
– Legal framework set by the National Center for Education Codex, patent
rights laws on infrastructure financing opportunities for innovation,
– Organizational structure and training provided by universities.
Scientific technology association “Infopark” is the largest association of
businesses and organizations with software development in Belarus. In his
speech Olga Zavyalova allows participants to get acquainted with the
history list members, committees, and community centers, as well as basic
functions and initiatives of the Union.
Based on some conceptual considerations professor, Dr. Alexander Grischuk
focus his speech on different general approaches to implementing knowledge
triangle in Ukraine.
In order to accelerate the implementation of the knowledge triangle it offers
following:
– Creating structural units – Innovative Offices;
– Support the processes of innovation and research and training Research personnel;
– The creation of a national network platform “Universities 4 Innovation”;
– Development and publication of a practical handbook “Building innovation Ukrainian
culture in universities.
After a brief greeting prof. Sloka and rector of the University of Latvia acts
Alla Novikova, Deputy Director of the State “The State Road Transport Research Institute”.
She began her speech with a brief review of the scientific potential and power
its institutions, and provides detailed information on financial and legal framework
innovation and innovation strategy in Ukraine. Technology parks play a very
important role in the implementation of innovative strategies. It explains how the
parks supported and gave examples of successful technology parks.
Dr. Kaufman presents a general model of knowledge triangle, explains the
interaction between academic education, research and innovation and key terms
knowledge triangle.
Based on these explanations, it shows the coherence between the initial situation,
specification requirements analysis problems and target specification, which reflects
this consistency according to the schedule of the project FKTBUM.
